    With Easter right around the corner, Next plumbing wants to remind you that your garbage disposal is not a proper place to dispose of your eggshells. Contrary to popular belief, garbage disposals do not have blades as most people believe, and eggshells will not sharpen anything. However, thy will cause damage to the impellers or create clogs.

    We recommend disposing of them in your trash bin, or better yet, repurposing them as a fertilizer! Eggshells lower soil acidity, encourage root growth, control pests and discourage blossom- end rot!
